Refund Policy
At Blue Sky Farewells, we are honored to provide respectful and meaningful aerial ash scattering services. Because of the sensitive and customized nature of our offerings, our refund policy is as follows:

Cancellations & Refunds
Full Refunds are available if the service is canceled at least 10 days before the scheduled flight date.
Partial Refunds (50%) are available for cancellations made 3–9 days before the scheduled flight date.
No Refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 3 days of the scheduled flight or for no-shows.
Weather & Airspace Delays
If a flight is postponed due to weather, air traffic control restrictions, or other aviation-related concerns, we will reschedule at the earliest available opportunity. Refunds are not issued for weather-related delays unless we are unable to perform the service within 45 days of the original date.
Custom & Offshore Services
All offshore scatterings (3+ miles offshore per EPA requirements) and custom-coordinated services require additional planning and are non-refundable once confirmed, except in cases where Blue Sky Farewells is unable to perform the service.
Unsuitable Remains or Non-Organic Materials
If we receive remains that contain non-organic materials (e.g., prosthetics, jewelry, implants), those items will be returned to the client. Refunds are not issued due to the presence of such items.
Service Satisfaction
While we strive for precision, a one-mile variance from the requested coordinates may occur due to aviation and weather conditions. This is noted in our service agreement and does not qualify for a refund.
Refund Method
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
